Today, December 27, we receive news that saddens us greatly and calls us to unite as a community. Angel Sebastian Cubillos Garcia, a young man of just 17 years old, has suffered a serious accident after falling from the fifth floor while chasing a balloon.
The diagnosis is delicate: multiple fracture of hip and pelvis, in addition to the urgent need for surgery to stabilize his hip and screws in the C5 and L5 of his spine. Currently, he is under a reserved prognosis, awaiting a second medical opinion while awaiting the status of his internal organs.
Angel is the son of Julio Cubillos, a well-known and beloved character in Vilcabamba for his participation in the artistic, gastronomic and community fields. In addition, Julio is a fundamental part of the Wellness Fest Organizing Committee, an event that promotes the well-being and unity of our community.
