The town of Vilcabamba in the so-called "Sacred Valley" advances entrenched towards economic, cultural reactivation and as a tourist destination for Nature and Well-being in its 161 years of parochialization.

The month of May is a time of celebration for the people of Vilcabamba who, due to their parochialization festivities and after the traditional novenas that began on May 4, come alive with different cultural, sports, religious and civic activities.
